[George Herbert] The Parish has three fascinating and very different churches.

[St.Andrew's] [St.John's] [St.Michael's]
St. Andrew's is a tiny 13th century Church renowned as the final resting place of George Herbert (1593-1633) St. John's is a much larger Victorian (1860) Church which was built at a time of village expansion. St. Michael's is a fine modern (1957) Church built on the nearby housing estate of Bemerton Heath.

"We are really excited about moving to Bemerton and becoming part of your church. At the moment Simon is working at St.Martins in the Bullring, in the heart of the city of Birmingham. Its been an exciting and challenging time with the renewal of the building and the people, ready for the re-opening of the shopping centre. Rebecca works for a church in East Birmingham as a Family Support Worker. Before we moved here Simon was in training at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. We've been married 5 years and have 2 cats who are looking forward to their new garden! We look forward to getting to know you all in the spring.

Love Simon and Rebecca"
