The Friends of Bemerton is a sub-committee of Bemerton Parochial Church
Council, with the following specific objectives:

| The upkeep and repair of the fabric and fittings of St. Andrew's Church, Bemerton, Salisbury, Wiltshire. | The promotion of the said St. Andrew's Church, Bemerton, as a place of pilgrimage, and as a memorial to George Herbert, priest, pastor and poet. |
All funds of the Friends are restricted to these objectives,
and because the Parochial Church Council is a Charity, you may make your gift
by Gift Aid.
A Festival of the Friends of Bemerton is held each year -
usually in September, - and members are kept in touch by an annual newsletter
and report.
The subscription to the Friends of Bemerton is £5 per
year, £3 for senior citizens and for children up to school leaving age.
There is a life subsciption of £30.
You are invited to join the
Friends of Bemerton by completing the form to be found in St.
Andrew's Church and so help to preserve George Herbert's memory, and his church
for future generations.
